Why we launched ALI

ALI was created to expand access to leadership training, mentorship, and coaching for talented managers who are often under-served by traditional development pathways.

Origin

ALI began as a targeted leadership development initiative and has since evolved into a broader program that trains and mentors high‑potential managers from across Aldrich’s portfolio companies.

How it works

A fast-paced, three-day intensive delivered every quarter-built around practical skills, peer learning, and facilitator-led sessions.

Sessions are led by CEOs and accomplished operators from across the Aldrich ecosystem. Focus stays on teaching and discussion-not slide-building.

ALI is designed to build real leadership capability—without publishing prescriptive syllabi or case details.

The Aldrich Leadership Institute helps participants develop practical leadership skills such as negotiation, communication, self-advocacy, people management, and managing upwards. Sessions are modeled after executive education curricula taught at Harvard Business School, Stanford Graduate School of Business and Google, emphasizing discussion, real-world application, and peer learning.

Facilitated discussions, interactive exercises, and case-style conversations—focused on judgment and decision-making rather than theory.
